Youthpass and Recognition news are shared through the common SALTO newsletter. Please subscribe to the SALTO newsletter with a user account on the salto-youth.net website. Youthpass is managed by the SALTO Training and Cooperation Resource Centre, that is part of the SALTO-YOUTH Network. We therefore use the system of the SALTO-YOUTH network for the dissemination of the Youthpass news.

Youthpass Certificates Now in 11 Languages and Growing!

We are happy to share that the Youthpass certificate is now available in 11 languages—Croatian, Czech, English, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, Polish, and Spanish, with other languages in the works. This important step solidifies our commitment to making Youthpass more accessible. A heartfelt thank you goes to the dedicated staff of the National Agencies for their support in making this happen.

Youthpass: Deletion of Old Projects

When six years have passed since the implementation of a project, its related information will automatically be deleted from the Youthpass database. This process is needed to comply with the EU data protection policies, as the projects have the "right to be forgotten". However, to ensure verifying, at any point, whether a certificate is valid, information on certificates will remain in the database in a pseudonymised manner, regardless of the issuing date.

Participants Confirm: Erasmus+ Youth in Action Is So Much About Learning!

The RAY Network has just published the survey results for Erasmus+ Youth in Action 2017-2018 which states that 71% of respondents received Youthpass and 68% of those were involved in reflection on learning and self-assessment as part of their project. 67% of Youthpass receivers who used Youthpass in job, internship or study applications think that it was helpful in getting the placement.

The counter on the Youthpass website called for a big celebration on September 16, 2019 as one millionth Youthpass certificate was issued through the Youthpass database. That is the total number of certificates that have been issued to the young people and the youth workers who have participated in the European youth programmes since 2007, to confirm their participation in and to recognise their learning in the projects.
